I am divorcing many of our worldly goods. They have had their place. We have loved them. We're moving on.
The conundrum is whether one has a massive garage sale, or chooses the road less stressed. We've deliberated carefully and chosen the road less stressed. Even though the move is cause for rejoicing and celebration it still ranks right up there with major life stressors. So much to think about. So much to plan. The needs of two small dogs to address.
We 'young-ish' moderns are using Facebook to announce various items for gifting amongst our Facebook Friends. It's kind of like a potlatch - we're redistributing the accumulated stuff of at least 21 years living in an inland rural city, and we're transitioning from parenting a young family to becoming the Empty Nester Retirees that we certainly are.
Who knew that one could accumulate so many bags of various types?
So, it's out with the 'old', and hopefully not in with the new!
